Für mich ist der Magenta Stick schon ein Fortschritt. Ich habe kein Apple TV oder TV auf Android Basis, aber mit dem Stick habe ich Zugriff auf diverse Apps, die ich sehr gerne nutze.

Der hat das Zeug gut zu sein, leider überzeugt mich bisher die FW nicht so wirklich.
Die Shield ist ja auch nicht perfekt und hat Probleme mit DV & Atmos.
Aber die Grundfunktionen sind einfach funktional bzw. es gibt Apps um sie zu ermöglichen (Refresh Rate).
Ich habe über DAZN die erste Halbzeit Frankfurt - Augsburg nebeneinander über die Shield und den Sky Q- Receiver laufen lassen.
Okay, Q läuft 3 bis 4 sec. hinterher (gegenüber DAZN über Samsung TV sind es auch 2- 3 sec.), aber das Bild der Shield ist ein paar Nuancen besser/ klarer.
Schön zu wissen, dass ich zwei fast gleichgute Geräte nutzen kann, die fast keine Störungen bei einer DAZN- Übertragung haben

Es gibt ein neues HotFix Image für die Nvidia Shield TV Pro.
Fifth HotFix(32.7.301.95):
- Fixes an issue of stutters & cracking sound with few headphones when dolby processing is enabled
- Improves volume control for 2015 remote and controller
- Fixes and issue where Google home commands would cause the volume to lower but not be raised after the command is completed
- Fixes an issue of System hang while enable/disable “Match content color space” on DV playback in Netflix
- Includes incremental Dolby vision fixes
- Fixes an issue where interlaced video playback exhibits stutters after 13minutes of playback
This HotFix image has not been certified by Google so no Disney+ installs or updates from the playstore while on this image but it’ll continue to work as is if you have it installed.

- Resolves issue with high bit rate audio dropping audio at fixed locations. Note: This fixes will apply to apps using SHIELDs audio engine like Plex/Photos & Videos. Kodi has it’s own engine which has not fixed this bug yet so the fix will not apply to Kodi and apps like it.

Was ich ihm nicht beantworten konnte: lässt sich die Refresh App dort auch installieren und funktioniert sie gleich der Pro-Version?

Ja, wurde ganz normal angeboten und man verlässt automatisch den Beta Channel.
Wenn es wieder HotFix Versionen gibt, muss man sich erneut anmelden.

Disney+ mit Dolby Atmos auf NVIDIA SHIELD TV
Meine Shield findet die Disney Plus App nicht (bisher habe ich Disney+ über mein Laptop aufgerufen)
Meine auch nicht 
Für Deutschland gibt es die App noch nicht im Play Store.

Wenn ich via VPN nach den Niederlanden oder in die USA gehe, bekomme ich sie auch nicht.
